Studio Process

Sea Remains is developed around the idea of emptiness and disposability of objects.  It consists, firstly, in the translation of the shapes of disposable and transitory objects, polystyrene packing; which remain from the empty space of the packaging of technological artefacts; into casted glass making a series of glass objects.

The glass pieces are then going to be anchored in the sea side for a considerable period of time to be abraded by the movement of nature forces; water and sand.

In last term, the glass objects are going to be gathered, and the collection will be reunited into a new one of sea remains.
